One nice thing about living on a boat is that everyone waves and will often stop for a chat as they go past in their dingy. You end up with lots of impromptu gatherings in the cockpit of somebody’s boat. If you don’t like your neighbors, you can always just pull up the anchor and head out. If you really like your neighbors, you can just stay a while or even cruise around together. Even when you go separate ways, you are likely to meet up again in another port somewhere. |
